About Bab Agnaou and the ramparts
The ramparts and monumental gates of Marrakech date from the city’s first centuries, UNESCO notes; Bab Agnaou, the carved gate of the Kasbah, is the most decorated. The Moroccan National Tourist Office suggests looking out over the landscape from the parapets of the walls, with the Atlas beyond.
Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Bab Agnaou and the ramparts before you go.
