Imlil, 60 km from Marrakech, is the village at the head of the paths into Toubkal National Park; Kasbah du Toubkal stands on a hilltop above it, a 15-minute uphill walk, with mules carrying the luggage (the Kasbah’s site). Walk with a local guide.
