Leave Jemaa el-Fna by the souks on its north side and walk through the market streets to the Ben Youssef Madrasa, returning by Le Jardin Secret on Rue Mouassine and the Maison de la Photographie. Allow a morning; the lanes are shaded and narrow, so watch for motorbikes and handcarts.
